Backup from Save Editvoicepack X

Postby EDDT-Sebi » Mon Jan 13, 2014 2:19 pm

Hello,
I install second Editvoicepack X to my PC. I save Airliner.cfg as EvpAccelerated1.gvp (419.301 KB) from old FSX/Sound/ATC. It was last Xmas Crash SSD, lost Date WinOs7. I install news WinOs7 to HDD, but other 2.HHD save FSX! But all new FSX install.
I open Editvoicepack X, but not Datelist last my Update Callsign. I am afraid, that EDP X clean EvpAcceleratid1.gvp Callsign..!
Where load my Date?
I hope, my understand text?

Sebastian

The files used by EditVoicepack are stored here:
C:\ProgramData\EditVoicepackX

If they are copied over to the new system you should have the callsigns back.

Unfortunately there is not much I can do about a corrupt file.

EditVoicepack stores it files using standard format (XML in this case) compressed using a standard compression format (GZIP for Evp). If the gzip stream is corrupt, then I have no idea how to restore the data.
