Here is the full text of the error:
Cannot set Owner property to a Window that has not been shown previously.
at System.Windows.Window.set_Owner(Window value)
at Bevelstone.EditVoicepack.Client.ExceptionDialog.Show(Window parentWindow, Exception exception)
at Bevelstone.EditVoicepack.Client.MainForm..ctor()
at Bevelstone.EditVoicepack.Client.BasicUI.ApplicationWindow.SwitchToAdvancedUIButtonOnClick(Object sender, RoutedEventArgs routedEventArgs)

I get this error when attempting to switch to the Advance User Interface.

Oops, one of the unfortunate cases where there is an error displaying an error dialog, so you do not see the actual error.

Luckily I could find the error in the telemetry reported back to my server. It looks like it is a problem on the disk - when EditVoicepack asks Windows to monitor the folder you have Flight Simulator installed in, Windows generates the following error:
Code: Select all
The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

Unfortunately it does not tell me the exact path giving problems.

I recommend checking all disks where you have a Flight Simulator installed, as well as at least the C: drive. You can find a guide on how to do this here:
