Hi,

Just to throw my issues in as well, I, too, am having the multiple voices, incorrect airline calls, (EX: United is being called UPS), airports called by another name other than the correct one (EX: KFLL is called something else), and the atc window does show the correct airport and aircraft information.

I look forward to your repair.

Please try version 5.5.2 available here:
http://editvoicepack.com/try-and-buy/

I had indeed managed to mix up the voice order. The name you see (Pilot 0, Pilot 1, ...) do not match the internal order of voices in the data file. And due to some not so smart decisions made in 2002, I have to map back and forth constantly. I had not realized one of my last changes could affect this mapping... well... it did. :)

Trying 5.5.2, everything appears to be back to normal. Thank you for the quick fix, much appreciated!

EDIT : Sorry to be a pain but I spoke too soon I think. While not as bad as before, I'm still occasionally getting mixed male and female voicesets with 5.5.2 downloaded from simmarket.

Hanging around Heathrow listening to ATC using Audio Technica M50x headphones, I am definitely not mishearing things. Any ideas? I installed over the top of 5.4.1 if that's any help.

Hi,

How do I update from 5.5.1 to 5.5.2? Do I have to uninstall 5.5.1 or just install 5.5.2 over it?

Thanks.

I will have a look again in the weekend. It would help if you can give a concrete example of a sentence with mixed voices.

Simply run the 5.5.2 installer amd it will uninstall the 5.5.1 version for you.

Hi Lars.

I have sent you a pm with a link to a video showing the problem in 5.5.2.

I will have a look again this weekend.

In the meantime, is there any chance to convince you it's a new feature? In order to add variation I added a few teenage interns with breaking voices :)

One thing I do wonder though: Did you run "Update Flight Simulator with new ATC capabilities" from the main menu after installing the latest version? I just realized that as a typical developer I assume people will do that, because "obviously" nothing will change in the flight simulator if this is not done - but if you do not now how EditVoicepack work (and why should you?), then it is not obvious at all.

Hi Lars. Yes, I always run "Add new atc abilities" after every install. Cheers.

Yes, I am sorry I must confirm the voices are still mixed. Not as bad as it was but it appears to me the female have more problems than the male voices.
I am hearing female voice pronounce 0, 1 and 4 in male transmissions.

Are you 100% sure this has been going on for "a few versions"? Do you have any idea how long you have seen it?

For me it has been going since a version before 5.5.1. I'll be getting back home tonight hopefully and checking out 5.5.2. I have found the best way to really test the issue is listening to ATIS.

I believe I got the last teenager with a breaking voice thrown out of the ATC tower now. :)

Please try version 5.5.3:
http://editvoicepack.com/try-and-buy/

and let me know if it helped.
