EditVoicePack 5.5.1 mixed callsigns?

Postby bankflyer » Wed Jul 05, 2017 4:05 am

I just updated to 5.5.1 this morning and it installed fine, updated fine. However when flying this evening using a WestJet 737 ATC kept calling me either "Westmid" or "Westland", and when I responded those callsigns were used also. I checked on the aircraft and the callsign is listed correctly as WestJet. Any thoughts on how to correct this? Thanks in advance...

Had the same with Vueling being given the callsign Vulcan.

I will try to reproduce it at the first available moment - which is probably not before the weekend. :(

Does this error happen:
1) In the spoken words
2) In the text written in the ATC window
3) Both of these places.

To the best of my recollection in both places.

Please try version 5.5.2 available here:

http://editvoicepack.com/try-and-buy/

It appears my test data is too clean - the error occur when there is one or more modifications without phrase and sound segments for one or more voices.

Martin, I will PM a link where you can upload the file:
"C:\ProgramData\EditVoicepackX\EditVoicepackData.xml.gzip"

then I can try to investigate what is different compared to the data file I use.

Lars,

You were right. Updating from one version to the next must be followed by running the 'Add new atc abilities'. I did that for 5.1 but forgot, apparently, for 5.2. After doing so all is well again with regard to the callsigns. Mixed teenage voices are still a feature though.

I don't see that? How do you run "Add new atc abilities"?

The full name of the function is "Update Flight Simulator with new ATC capabilities" from the main menu of EditVoicepack.

That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. I run it anytime I install a new version. Installed 5.5.2, voices still mixed up but it doesn't seem as bad
